3 March 2021, Shanghai – BREEAM In-Use V6 scheme was officially launched at the BRE China Awards and BREEAM 30th Anniversary gala event.
BREEAM In-Use V6, a new powerful online tool and certification standard for asset management, it is an assessment process that provides sustainability benchmarking and assurance options for all building types.
Since its creation in 2009, BREEAM In-Use has been used by thousands of assets in over 30 countries to benchmark, improve and certify their sustainability performance and to showcase high standards of ESG performance.
BREEAM In-Use has further improved the comprehensive evaluation system, with a global vision and a leading scheme that prioritises green management, health and wellbeing, disaster prevention and resilience, and energy control of centralised residential buildings.

The launch event ended with the signing ceremony of BREEAM In-Use Portfolio Agreement, a strategic partnership between BRE and Landsea Green Life, a subsidiary of the Landsea Group, marking the full implementation of BREEAM In-Use scheme in 100 projects under the BREEAM scheme.

Quinnie Li, General Manager of BRE China, and Yin Feng, Chief Investment Officer of Landsea Green Life, signed a strategic agreement on the spot, officially launching a new round of strategic cooperation between Landsea Green Life and the new BREEAM In-Use V6 scheme.
As the world’s first centralized BREEAM In-Use V6 certified residential building project, Landsea Hongqiao Green Country project embodies the core values of Landsea’s “people-oriented, sunshine, and green”.
Landsea Hongqiao Green Country is the first high-end green technology residence in downtown Shanghai, and it is also a brand-new second-generation technology residential product created by Landsea Group. Before designing the planning scheme, Landsea carried out a dynamic simulation of the residential ecological environment of the community, communicated and discussed with Landsea Green Life, and designed the optimal planning scheme for products, landscape and other elements and even the entire community.
As the first batch of qualification assessment units certified by BREEAM In-Use, Landleaf Technology provided overall green building plan planning, project data analysis, full-process standard data compilation, standard application service work and medal acquisition for the Landsea Hongqiao Green Country project.

At the end of the BIU V6 launching ceremony, BRE and Landsea Green Life, a subsidiary of Landsea Group, carried out a strategic cooperation – BREEAM In-Use Portfolio Agreement Signing Ceremony, marking the full start of the BREEAM In-Use scheme in Landsea’s 100 project implementation plan. Mr. Xie Yuanjian, founding partner, vice president and executive director of Landleaf Technology, also brought an online speech, presenting the grand blueprint for the in-depth cooperation between BRE and Landsea Group.
